Spotlight: Makerspace Monday at Shiloh Middle School
Shiloh Middle School held its first “Makerspace Monday” in the school’s media center. Students had an opportunity to engage in interactive stations related to STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math). These stations encourage discovery, creativity, problem solving, and innovation with a hands-on approach.
Students had access to exciting technology materials in the space, such as Ozobots, 3D printing, virtual reality, and much more, provided by a partnership with Carroll County Public Library. Makerspace Monday is also part of the Learning Advantage Partnership, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary.
Additional dates for Makerspace Monday are February 27, March 20, and April 24.
