​West Middle School Clubs

Anime Club- Students learn about/appreciate this Japanese film style.   We view films, do related activities and have a cosplay celebration.   Meetings are once a month on Wednesdays.

American Sign Language Club- Students learn about Deaf culture and American Sign Language.  Club Students will share what they learn with the student body through the WML morning news.

Fellowship of Christian Athletes “FCA”- To encourage students in their Christian faith to reach out and welcome others.   Also to foster good citizenship and sportsmanlike among students.    Meeting locations vary.

Rock Band- Students will learn to excel in practice and performance of music in a contemporary and relevant ensemble.

Role Playing Game Club- Game play enthusiasts get together to game and play a variety of role-playing table games.    Meetings are held on the 2nd Tuesday of each month.

SCORE Challenge Club- The purpose of the SCORE Challenge is to learn about using databases and compete with other middle schools.  Meets prior to the Challenge event which is scheduled for November 22nd.

Ski and Snowboard Club- Ski club provides an opportunity to students to enjoy the sport of skiing and snowboarding with their peers.   (Winter Months)

Spring Musical - Students rehearse after school to present a musical here at West Middle.  Students may only attend after being selected through auditions in January.

Student Government Association (SGA)- To strengthen leadership skills through student led school and community activities.   To represent the interests and concerns of the entire student body.   Provide students with the opportunity to share/express opinions and ideas.     Meetings will be held in the Media Center.

Unity Club- To celebrate the diversity of West Middle students by learning more about other cultures and ethnicities in order to appreciate cultural differences and similarities.

West Reads Book Club-Promote and encourage a love of reading to all students.   Meets once a month.

Yearbook Club- To create a fun and exciting yearbook that students will be proud of.
