8th Grade Scheduling Process for Next Year

This month, Mrs. Geho will be teaching a classroom lesson to the eighth graders on an introduction to High School Graduation Requirements. This lesson will be taught in Team 6 classes on Friday, December 14 and in Team 5 classes on Monday, December 17.  Please be on the lookout for information to come home during that time regarding the high school scheduling process.

Looking ahead: On January 24th, counselors from Liberty High School will be presenting in eighth grade science classes to expand on the high school graduation requirements and scheduling process. On this day, students will receive their recommendations from teachers for next year’s placement as well as their course selection sheet. Liberty will hold a parent information night on January 31st to go over the high scheduling process. Scheduling meetings will be held at Liberty High School on February 7th and February 13th from 4-7 pm. During this time, students and their parents will meet with their advisor from Liberty to turn in their course selection sheets. More information on how to sign up will be coming in the January newsletter. Please call or email Mrs. Geho at kmgeho@carrollk12.org if you have any questions.
