Qualifications

Your child(ren) may be eligible for free or reduced price meals if your household income and family size meet the federal guidelines. If your gross income (before taxes) is at or below the level on the scale, your child(ren) is eligible for either free or reduced price meals. If you receive food stamps or temporary cash assistance (TCA) for your child(ren), they are eligible for free meals. The reduced meal price is $.30 for breakfast and $.40 for lunch.


To Apply

For free or reduced price meals, please complete the Household Meal Benefit Application(Household Meal Benefit Application located on CCPS website, or the one that is sent home at the beginning of each new school year with your youngest child. Sign the application and return it to your youngest child's school. A Notice of Action Taken will be sent home notifying you of your child(ren)'s eligibility status as soon as a determination is made.

You may apply for free or reduced price meals any time during the school year. Use the above link or pick up a copy in the main office.
