Maryland Higher Education Commission is a guide to help students prepare for college in the state of Maryland. It is a valuable resource scholarships, grants, financial aid, and training, as well as other pertinent information.
The college search, application and admission processes can be daunting. Please remember that your Guidance Counselor is available to meet at any time to provide assistance. In addition, the College Admission Handbook from Get in 2 College, LLC provides a great deal of information to make the processes a little easier.

Senior Student Resources
Transcripts: When you are ready to apply to colleges, a Transcript Request Form must be completed and turned into the Counseling Office. Please make sure to hand in the request 10 school days prior to the application deadline date. This is the amount of time needed to process transcripts. Student Self-Assessment: Many college applications require Counselor and Teacher recommendation letters to be sent along with the transcript. In order to assist those writing these letters we ask that all students complete a "Brag Sheet" (Student Self-Assessment) and submit it along with the Transcript Request Form to the Counseling Office. College Visits: Juniors and Seniors are granted two (2) days each year for college visitations without being charged as absent. The request for visitation must be submitted PRIOR to the college visit date. The College Visitation Form must be completed and signed by the student, parent, teachers, and counselor. Upon return to school, verification of the college visit should be presented to Mrs. Cooper in the Main Office.
