Mr. Kenneth Goncz, Principal kjgoncz@carrollk12.org
Mr. Goncz received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in History from Grove City College in Pennsylvania and his Master of Education Degree in Secondary School Administration and Supervision from the University of Maryland at College Park. After serving as a teacher, coach and Assistant Principal in Anne Arundel County, Mr. Goncz came to Westminster High School where he served as Assistant Principal for four years. Mr. Goncz was the Principal of Winters Mill High School from 2006 until 2008 and the Principal of Westminster High School from July 2008 until 2015.

Mr. Todd Hicks, Assistant Principal tlhicks@carrollk12.org
Mr. Hicks earned a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Physical Education from Towson University. After playing six years of professional soccer for the Baltimore Blast, he began teaching in Prince George’s County and Baltimore County. He came to Carroll County in 2005, teaching Physical Education and Health at Oklahoma Road Middle. In 2009, Mr. Hicks moved to Manchester Valley High School teaching Health and coaching soccer for the first four years of the school’s opening. After completing his Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Bowie State University and Walden University, Mr. Hicks was appointed Assistant Principal at Manchester Valley during the 2013/14 school year. In 2018, he served as Acting Principal. He was the Assistant Principal at Westminster High School during the 2018-2019 school year. His extremely excited to be part of the Liberty High School Community. He resides in Severna Park, MD with his wife, son, and daughter.

Mrs. Meghan Brown, Assistant Principal mebrow2@carrollk12.org
Mrs. Brown graduated Suma Cum Laude from Western Maryland College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and double minors in Music and Secondary Education. She is a Phi Beta Kappa member. She graduated from Goucher College with a Master’s degree in Administration and a concentration in School Improvement Leadership. Prior to coming to Liberty High School, Mrs. Brown was the Assistant Principal at South Carroll High School for four years, and taught 11th and 10th grade English for 11 years in Anne Arundel County at Old Mill High School.
