Class of 2022 Information from
Mrs. Welty - 11th Grade Counselor
Good Friday afternoon everyone! A reminder that all online course selection forms must be submitted by the end of the school day next Friday, January 29th! To date, only 25 students have submitted course requests for grade 12. I will be available in my Google Classroom on Monday, 1/25, at the following times to provide assistance and answer questions:
Please plan to stop in if you need help or have any questions to ask me!
Have a great weekend all!
Hello Junior! As you begin to prepare for mock interviews, please take a few minutes to watch the attached video which will give you a basic overview of how to write your resume. Resume Templates are provided in this Google Classroom as well. Please e-mail Mrs. Adcock at firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions.
Good afternoon all! It was great catching up with those of you that stopped by my Google Classroom today to chat about course selection!
A couple of questions that came up today in conversation:
**Item #1 should be your last name; I'm not sure why that was not listed there but I fixed it. **Yes, even if we had a meeting to review/revise your 4-year plan and discussed classes for next year, you do still need to complete the online course selection form. The link to the scheduling website was posted on January 19 and is listed below in the stream a couple of posts down.
The Program of Studies, copies of 4-year plans (ECP's),
and a link to the course selection form are all posted on the website.
**Yes, you still need to sign up for 8 credits in spite of other plans like dual enrollment, internships, etc. The reason for this is that we cannot finalize plans for those things until
later in the semester. If, for any reason, one of those plans would fall through (unlikely, but it could happen), then we have a full schedule here for you. It's like a Plan B---it's always wise to have a Plan B. An example of this would be if you are planning to take ENG 101 at CCC
next year, go ahead and put in the English class listed on your 4-year plan. We will remove that once your registration at CCC is completed. I will likely open up my classroom at least a few more times before course selections are due on 1/29. Look out for a post from me about that!
