Academic Eligibility Policy
All students entering 9th grade for the first time are eligible based on academics, during the first marking period of the 9th grade school year. A student becomes ineligible for academic reasons if he/she earns less than a 2.0 weighted GPA for that marking period or receives a grade of ‘F’ for any course in which the student is enrolled during the marking period. Quarter grades are used to determine eligibility. Eligibility for the first quarter of the year is based upon the fourth quarter grades of the previous year.
**NEW** In the fall of 2017, we launched the online registration for CCPS athletics through Family ID. This includes all registration for interscholastic athletic teams and corollary athletic teams.
Registration for fall sports will open on Monday, June 3, 2019 and will close at midnight on Monday, August 12, 2019.
Any student interested in trying out for, or participating in any interscholastic or corollary sport MUST have a valid physical uploaded to Family ID prior to participating.
Physicals are valid for 13 months from the date of the doctors signature.
