Benefits TO and FROM The Community

  1. Local businesses benefit from the Carroll County Career and Technology Center by having a trained workforce.  Many of the students who graduate from the CCCTC go on to work at local businesses including  the12 CCCTC instructors who came back to CCCTC to teach.
  2. Programs at CCCTC are required to meet with local businesses that form our Program Advisory Committees (PAC's).  PAC's meet twice a year to discuss current trends and new technology.  Many of the improvements seen in our programs can be traced back to the PAC's suggestions.  PAC's are part of the requirements for State and Federal Funding.
  3. Local businesses allow students with skills and experience to intern.  This is a valuable resource that is celebrated every year at the CCCTC partnership dinner.
