School Menus

EES will now offer a balanced breakfast each morning. School breakfast will give your child a healthy start to the day. A nutritious breakfast helps students be more alert so they can learn more in class. Breakfast has vitamins and nutrients for a strong and healthy body. Breakfast at school is affordable, too. The cost is $1.50. If you qualify for free or reduced price meals, you also qualify for the breakfast program, with no additional paperwork.  Eldersburg's weekly breakfast menu is as follows:

Children may purchase a balanced hot lunch, including milk, daily in the school cafeteria for $2.50 or children may pack a lunch and purchase ½ pint milk for $.60. Adults are welcome to purchase lunch at $3.50.  Ice cream will be sold for $.75. Please avoid sending red punch or grape drinks because they cause stains when spilled. Carbonated beverages or glass bottles are not permitted at any time because of their explosive nature. Students who do not have lunch money will be asked to stand at the end of the line to facilitate speedy lunch line service.

Meals may be purchased ahead of time.  You can send a check or cash directly to the cafeteria.  Checks should be made payable to Eldersburg Elementary School.  Please write your child(s) name and grade on the check.

You can also go online to www.myschoolbucks.com and set up student internet account form free.  To set up the account, you will need to use your child's PIN. With this account you will be able to view your child's cafeteria balance and view purchase activity.  You can also use the online service to make a credit card transaction as well as make deposits into multiple children's accounts with one transaction fee.

Meal charges must be repaid the school day after a charge is made. A child will not be allowed to charge a meal if he/she has three (3) outstanding charges.

There will be no sharing of food due to the possibility of food allergies and/or medical conditions. No food from an outside vendor (e.g. Burger King, McDonald's, Pizza Hut) is permitted in the school cafeteria during regular lunch hours.
