Special Education Citizens Advisory Committee (SECAC)
The Carroll County SECAC is a committee established by Carroll County Public Schools to seek meaningful input from parents, community partners, service providers, educators, and administrators on local issues about the achievement of students with disabilities. This collaboration enables the director of special education to make positive changes in the delivery of special education services. If you have concerns and desire to bring about positive change please consider becoming an active member in this constructive process. Dates for this year's meetings are September 14, 2017, November 9, 2017, February 8, 2018, April 12, 2018, and May 31, 2018.
Get ready for the 2018 Appreciation and Recognition Awards Night! April 30, 2018 at the Carroll County Career and Technology Center beginning at 7:00 pm.
The Appreciation Award is to recognize an extraordinary individual or group that has gone above and beyond in helping to contribute to the growth, wellbeing, and happiness of our students with disabilities. To complete a nomination, please click here.
The Recognition Award is for CCPS staff to recognize other CCPS staff who have gone above and beyond in helping to contribute to the growth, wellbeing, and happiness of our students with disabilities. To complete a nomination, please click here. Only one nomination per staff member.
