The Office of Career and Technical Education provides the direction, leadership, and technical assistance to all Agriscience, Business Education, Family and Consumer Sciences (FACS), Occupational, and Technology Education programs in Carroll County's middle schools, high schools, and technology centers. CTE programs include both general and occupational education programs.
Career and Technical Education is "Value Added" education. Many CTE Occupational programs help students obtain industry-recognized credentials and articulated or transcripted credits. Students have the opportunity for work-based learning experiences, learning on the job in addition to learning in the classroom.
