Students from all Carroll County high schools have been recognized by CollegeBoard’s AP Program for 2022. Every year, CollegeBoard recognizes high school students who have demonstrated outstanding college-level achievement through their performance on multiple Advanced Placement (AP) exams and in AP programs.
AP Scholar Award: 184 students received this status, granted to students who receive scores of 3 or higher on three or more AP exams.
AP Scholar with Honor Award: 86 students earned this designation, granted to students who receive an average score of at least 3.25 on all AP exams, and scores of 3 or higher on four or more of these exams.
AP Scholar with Distinction Award: 140 students achieved this honor, granted to students who receive an average score of at least 3.5 on all AP exams taken, and scores of 3 or higher on five or more of these exams.
AP Seminar and Research Certificate: 16 students earned scores of 3 or higher in AP Seminar and AP Research courses.
AP Capstone Diploma: 26 students earned scores of 3 or higher in AP Seminar, AP Research, and on four additional AP exams during high school.
In addition, 39 students earned both AP Scholar designation and an AP certificate or diploma.
