Dr. Karen B. Salmon, State Superintendent of Schools, visited Carroll County Public Schools on Monday, October 30, 2017.

Her first stop was Century High School, where she visited classrooms including a class taught by Thom McHugh, Carroll County Teacher of the Year and a Finalist for Maryland Teacher of the Year.

She then went on to Linton Springs Elementary School, where she visited classrooms and got a firsthand look at the school’s reef ball project.

CCPS Superintendent Stephen Guthrie and Board of Education members accompanied Dr. Salmon as she visits the schools.
