The Special Education Citizen’s Advisory Committee will host a virtual Town Hall meeting on Thursday, January 20, 2022, from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. To join the meeting, go to Meet - bhg-zpqn-bsv (

This year the Committee will try to provide an open format for two of the town halls.  This will allow people to ask and learn about things most relevant to their child.  Please submit questions/discussion items at and be sure to indicate the grade level of your student.  At this time, please refrain from using specific school names or staff names.  Submitting questions prior to the meeting will allow time for SECAC and the Office of Special Education to have the personnel or information needed to respond.

During the meeting:

  • Participants will remain on mute until pre-submitted questions are responded to and the moderator calls on a participant.
  • Questions should be for the good of the group and not focus on specific students, schools, or teachers.
  • Patience is key as SECAC/CCPS are venturing into the Town Hall format for only the second year.
