A total of 144 students from Carroll County Public Schools have been selected as Carson Scholars for 2021. This includes 38 First-Time Scholars and 106 Recognized Scholars.

Each year the Carson Scholars Fund recognizes a select group of high achieving students in grades 4-11 who demonstrate outstanding academic achievement and community service. First-Time Scholars who excel academically and selflessly give of themselves, their time, and their talent to others receive a $1,000 college scholarship award and the honor of being named a Carson Scholar. After winning the scholarship, a student may apply to renew their Carson Scholar status. These previous scholarship recipients have maintained high academic standards and a strong commitment to their communities.

Carroll County Public Schools would like to thank Cole Roofing and The Kahlert Foundation for supporting our Carson Scholars through their generous funding of $1,000 scholarships.
