The Board of Education of Carroll County will hold a special meeting on Wednesday, July 15, 2020, at 5:00 p.m. This will be a hybrid meeting in which some Board members are present in the Board room. However, some Board members and staff will be participating virtually. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the public will not be able to attend the meeting with the exception of those who wish to speak during Citizen Participation.
Citizen Participation is scheduled on the agenda for 5:00 p.m. Speakers will be allowed three minutes to address the Board. Citizens who wish to speak must adhere to the guidelines outlined below. Staff will be available to assist speakers and signs will be posted.
- Wear a mask at all times except when addressing the Board from the podium.
- Enter the building through the main entrance.
- Sign in at the desk in the lobby.
- Wait in the lobby until your name is called. To accommodate social distancing, citizens may be asked to wait outside.
- After speaking, exit through the side door of the Board room.
The Board of Education will continue taking public comment through the CCPS website (click on the Board of Education tab and Members) or through the US mail. Comments received will be posted on the website.
The meeting will be streamed live on the CCPS website at www.carrollk12.org. You may access the meeting by clicking on the link under “News and Notices” on the homepage. The meeting also will be broadcast live on CETV Channel 21.
