Westminster High School seniors Eric Andrews and Ben Reed competed in the 2020 Maryland Wood Bridge Engineering Challenge held at the Baltimore Museum of Industry.

Model bridges were tested by the Johns Hopkins School of Civil Engineering.  The bridges were judged based on the highest efficiency and engineering design from students around the state. By the end of the competition, Eric won the Architectural Design Excellence Award given to one design with best structural design and craftsmanship.
