Students from 25 Carroll County schools will be participating in Fantastic Friday, presented by Westminster FallFest, on Friday, September 27, 2019, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Westminster City Park.

Fantastic Friday gives children and adults with complex communication needs, physical limitations, and other disabilities an opportunity to enjoy all that Fall Fest has to offer without the crowds. The day will feature rides and a Kid’s Zone with a maze, mini golf, pedal tractors, dime pitch and bingo. There also will be a build-your-own scarecrow class. Lunch will be provided.

Fantastic Friday was started 14 years ago by a parent on the FallFest Committee who had a disabled child and wanted people with disabilities to be able to enjoy this experience. Over the years, attendance has grown from about 80 people to 600 students, adults from community agencies, staff, and chaperones last year.
