The Board of Education is seeking input on the 2019 – 2028 Educational Facilities Master Plan. This is the planning document that is used to prioritize school system Capital Improvement Plan projects based on age and condition of facilities, educational program needs, and capacity and utilization. The Board received the proposed Educational Facilities Master Plan at a work session on May 15, 2019, and held a public hearing. Also at that work session, the Board received a progress update on the Carroll County Career & Technology Center renovation project and a Feasibility Study that outlined possible options for the modernization of East Middle School and possibly William Winchester Elementary School.
