Manchester Valley High School Athletic Director Troy Warehime was awarded the 2018 Maryland State Award of Merit by the Maryland State Athletic Directors Association (MSADA).

The National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association’s (NIAAA) State Award of Merit is presented annually in each state. It is an award presented to the state association NIAAA member who demonstrates outstanding leadership and meritorious service and achievement in the vocation of interscholastic administration.

Dr. Dave Dolch, Supervisor of Athletics for Carroll County Public Schools states, “Troy Warehime is one of the most active athletic administrators in MSADA, instructing training classes often for the benefit of others regarding NIAAA certification. The merit service award to Troy is well earned!”

Selections and presentations are made by each state athletic administrator association, and the award is provided by the NIAAA. The Maryland NIAAA State Award of Merit is sponsored by Daktronics and presented by MSADA at its annual conference.
