Terry Molloy, Athletic Director and Facilities Coordinator at Westminster High School, has received the 2018 Maryland State Athletic Directors Association (MSADA) District Athletic Director of the Year Award for District 1B.

District 1B encompasses 17 high schools throughout Carroll and Frederick counties. The award is voted on by the 17 peers in athletic administration and supervisors of athletics.  It is presented to athletic administrators who have made a significant impact on the lives of students and who have used athletics to achieve progress in the social and cultural environments of the school and the community.

Dr. Dave Dolch, Supervisor of Athletics for Carroll County Public Schools, states, “Terry Molloy is one of the hardest working athletic directors in the state of Maryland! His hard work and dedication will impact the lives of student-athletes in the Westminster community for a lifetime. It is an award that is justly deserved for a person who takes great pride in his work.”

Molloy has been the Athletic Director at Westminster High School for 16 years, previously teaching and coaching in Carroll County for 4 years and for 7 years in Frederick County.

The award was presented during the annual MSADA state conference on April 28, 2018, in Ocean City, Maryland.
