Students in the preschool class at Manchester Valley High School have created a preschool garden at the school. The garden includes an herb and fairy garden, as well as weather, sound, butterfly, bird, and annual flower stations.

The garden project was led by Family and Consumer Sciences teacher Angela Kays, and Outdoor School principal Gina Felter and teacher Joe Stevens provided assistance and expertise during this two-year process. Once the plans were complete, the garden was constructed within three weeks with the help of science research classes at the school. Donations from preschool parents, businesses, and community members covered most of the cost of garden.
