The Media Center, located off the Science/Arts wing, is fully automated with Internet access. The Media Center has CD-ROM and online encyclopedias as well as a wide variety of books. These complement the curriculum and provide resources for various research projects.

Currently, our school has multiple video broadcast capability. The morning announcements are broadcast live from the Media Center studio. Our students are on-line and on air. It is a great time to be at West Middle!

West Middle has a computer lab with 20 Dells and a printer. Teachers bring their classes to the lab for group or individual work. Besides using the Internet for research purposes, some of the staff have set up online tests and quizzes for their classes. Classes have created multimedia productions, newspapers, portfolios and other types of tech projects. The lab is used by all grade levels and in all subject areas.
