The mission of West Middle’s Green School Project is to maintain an environmentally friendly school while protecting the Earth’s environment through the actions of our students, teachers, administrators, staff, and community members.

Our recycling center collects six different items which are recycled at various locations. Our technology education teacher constructed the center using plans from a science teacher. Signage in both words and pictures allows everyone to participate in our recycling program!

West Middle has formed partnerships with many local community organizations resulting in opportunities to address environmental issues in the local community. Due to scheduling conflicts our construction of bluebird boxes has been postponed until the 28th of April, but it will be completed then. Faculty and students regularly help out the community by collaborating with the partners mentioned in the table below.
