Green School
In an effort to improve the environment of West Middle, students are working to have our school become a Green School. To meet the requirements of a Green School, students are working on three areas: Water Conservation, Energy Conservation, and Habitat Restoration. Students have been collecting data on our school's water and energy use in order to make recommendations for conservation. In addition, students are working on several habitat projects including a bluebird trail and cultivating a forested area on school property. The bluebird boxes and trees are monitored to ensure the success of each project.
