Student Service Graduation Requirement

In July of 1992, the Maryland State Board of Education passed the Student Service Graduation Requirement. Students must complete 75 hours of service. Beginning with the Class of 1997, students transferring into Carroll County Public Schools after the completion of their Freshmen year, should refer to the pro-rated hours chart on the back of the "Student Service Guidelines" provided by the Guidance Office.

Students must complete at least 55 service learning hours by the completion of the eleventh grade in order to be promoted to senior status.
