Mission
Our purpose: As parent boosters we support the needs of the 2009 class in a variety of ways. We chaperone dances, work concession stands and provide refreshments. We also provide monetary support for various activities. However, our main function is to raise the funds needed for senior year activities. These include the crab feast, transportation to the dinner-dance cruise, senior picnic and after-prom party. It is our goal to raise $30,000 by the time our students become Seniors!

Email updates: Meeting minutes, volunteer opportunities and booster news can be sent to everyone on our list. Please forward your email address to owlsparentboosters2009@comcast.net to be included. Even though the fundraising is mostly over, there is a lot more work and planning to do. We strongly encourage all parents of the Class of 2009 to attend at least one of our meetings, held the 1st Thursday of each month at 7 p.m. in Room B203 (the conference room across from the Main Office.) They are scheduled for:

May 10, 2008 - Junior Prom at WHS
Thanks to all parents who have volunteered to chaperone!
September 6, 2008 - Senior Crab Feast at WHS
We need 20 volunteers and donations of baked goods, fruits, veggies, sodas,
etc.
May 2, 2009 - Senior Dinner at Baltimore Aquarium
We need volunteers to chaperone.
May 30, 2009 - Senior Prom at Martin's Hunt Valley
and After Prom Party at Four Seasons
We need 100 volunteers and donations for baskets, food, etc.

To make a monetary donation for any of these events, please send your check, payable to WHS Class of 2009 Parent Boosters, to: Ann Thomas, 47 Chase Street, Westminster, MD 21157. Include your name, your student's name, phone number and email address.

To recycle ink cartridges or cell phones to benefit the Class of 2009, put them in the box in the Main Office or bring them to any Parent Booster Meeting.
