PROPOSED REVISIONS
FACILITIES MASTER PLAN 2008 - 2017
The primary purpose of the 2008-2017 Educational Facility Master Plan is to identify the present and future facility needs of Carroll County Public Schools. This plan addresses the need to provide capacity for projected student enrollments, the need to maintain and repair existing school buildings, and the need to provide an adequate learning environment to meet the current instructional programs of the school system.
The Rules, Regulations, and Procedures for the Administration of the Maryland School Construction Program requires each local education agency to annually submit its school system's Education Facilities Master Plan by July 1.
A public meeting regarding the proposed 2008-2017 Educational Facilities Master Plan will be held on Wednesday, May 28, 2008, at 7:00 p.m. The meeting will be held at Cranberry Station Elementary School, located at 505 North Center Street , Westminster . The Superintendent's staff will present the report and solicit public comment at this meeting.

The Facilities Master Plan will be presented to the Board of Education for approval at its meeting on Wednesday June 11, at 5:00 p.m. at the Board offices.
