About Mrs. McCormick-
Hi! I'm Cathlin McCormick. This is my seventh year at Westminster Elementary School. I received my undergraduate degree from Villanova University and my M.Ed. degree in School Counseling from Loyola College in Maryland. I have earned certifications as a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) and a Nationally Certified School Counselor (NCSC). Looking back to last year, we had a great year in guidance. I love being a school counselor because I really enjoy working with children, teachers and families. It's important to learn how to get along with others, and to understand how to make good choices and solve problems. Small groups will be offered in the Fall and Spring. Topics for the group sessions will be based upon the needs of the students each year. The topics may include, conflict resolution strategies, divorce/separated families, grief, and study skills and organizational skills.
