Carroll County Outdoor School provides sixth grade students with a unique opportunity to attend a week-long residential environmental education program at the Hashawha Environmental Center. Instruction and supervision are provided by the Outdoor School Team, high school student counselors, and visiting classroom teachers. Students who attend Outdoor School will automatically earn 10 Service Learning Hours. An additional 10 hours can be earned by completing a project in the Outdoor School Packet that is given at the conclusion of Outdoor School. There is a deadline for completion of the project in order to receive credit.
