Use the Online Public Access Catalog to locate Media Center resources. Not only will you find an excellent selection of fiction and non-fiction books, but also a variety of audiobooks, computer software and CDs and reviewed websites that are appropriate for student research assignments.

ONLINE DATABASES
Online Databases are organized sources of information developed especially for student research and study assignments. Links to the Media Center's online databases are located on the Great Research Tools Page.
The Student Resource Center (SRC) and World Book Encyclopedia are excellent resources for a variety of information needs. They contain excellent biographical information as well has current history, literature, news and information on most any subject.
You will find that the online databases called SIRS and Opposing Viewpoints provide you with excellent articles containing valuable information on various social topics and oftentimes controversial issues.
For specific subject information, use the Science Resource Center, the Literature in Context resources, or the Media Center's Virtual Library of online print resources.
Last, but definitely not least are the resources available from the Carroll County Public Library. You will need to use your public library card barcode number to access them. They include the History Resource Center, Literature Resource Center, the Biography Resource Center, Grolier Online Encyclopedias, and a Periodical Index.
