WMUNK News

WMUNK news is Sandymount's news show. Fifth grade students produce the weekly show which highlights news around the school. Each crew consists of 10-12 students. The students take turns learning the roles of news anchor, weather person, sports caster, camera person, video mixer, sound mixer, DVD and CD operator and computer technician. The students are responsible for writing the scripts and video taping the news segments. Ms. Boggs, Media Specialist, Mrs. Kelly, Media Clerk, and Mr. Yount, Guidance Counselor are the faculty sponsors of the show. The show airs live on Friday mornings at 9:15. Parents are welcome to be a member of our live studio audience in the media center. Stop by the media center to pick up an application to become a member of our WMUNK news crew.
