The High-Rise Private Eyes, The Case of the Sleepy Sloth by Cynthia Rylant

In this series, best friends Bunny Brown and Jack Jones work together to solve mysteries. In this case, Ramon is missing his one and only lawn chair and seagulls have eaten all the pizza. Bunny and Jack work to find out what happened to the chair, discover it is hard to say "sneaky snoopy puppy", and learn a lesson about feeding seagulls.

Shredderman Meets the Gecko by Wenelin Vaun Draanen

Fans of the Captain Underpants series, there is a new superhero in town - Shredderman. In the third book of the series, Nolan meets two of his favorite celebrities, "The Gecko" and his sidekick, a kleptomaniac lizard named Sticky.
