The Sandymount Media Center houses over 10,000 items, including books, magazines, videos, and professional journals. The media center has 16 computers available for student and teacher use. Applications include Internet access, word processing, Kidspiration, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Video Editing. In addition to checking out books, students who visit the media center are engaged in a variety of activities designed to strengthen their research and critical thinking skills. |
