This web-page provides information about the school counseling program including services provided to students, parents, and teachers, and relevant resources and web links.  I am Suzanne Peters, the school counselor for Robert Moton Elementary School.  I am available at Robert Moton Monday through Friday, during regular school hours, at 410-751-3610.  Please feel free to contact me by phone, by e-mail, sdpeter@carrollk12.org, or stop in to talk.

Our MissionThe mission of the School Counseling Program is to facilitate the personal and academic growth of all students. School counselors, as integral members of the educational team, support students in making positive life choices and becoming responsible caring adults.

Our Comprehensive School Counseling Program: Services are provided to all students through Classroom Guidance, Small group Counseling, and Individual Counseling.  Click "School Counseling Program" on the left task bar for more information.

 

Other Counseling Services: In addition to the full range of school counseling services which I can offer as a full-time school counselor we, at Robert Moton Elementary School, are fortunate to have on staff a Crisis Intervention Counselor, a Behavior Specialist, and a School Psychologist.  Counselor/therapists from Villa Maria Continuum, a community based agency, also provides direct services to students and families in our school.  Each of these provides counseling and consultation services for selected students.  Please take a look at their bios by clicking on  "Meet the Counselors".
