During the past 32 years, I have been a reading specialist and classroom teacher. As an educator, I was a classroom teacher in New York and Arizona, and since 1990, I have served in Carroll County Public Schools. Prior to being named principal at Parr’s Ridge Elementary, I was an assistant principal at Charles Carroll and Carrolltowne Elementary Schools.

Beginning its third year together, the Parr’s Ridge staff is dedicated and hard working. Our school community gives generously of their time and energy for our young children.
Together we have created a safe and nurturing environment and a culture of high expectations that make Parr’s Ridge an outstanding school.

I have been an educator in Carroll County for 24 years. I was a first grade teacher at Taneytown Elementary and Mt. Airy Elementary. I also served as the reading specialist at Mt. Airy as well as the assistant principal for one year.

As the assistant principal of Parr’s Ridge, I am dedicated to maintaining the standard of excellence in our community. It is a joy to walk through the doors of this wonderful K-2 school and be a part of a community that values collaboration, high expectations, and the young children that are entrusted to our care.
