Our Vision
Parr's Ridge is a primary school where positive relationships, high expectations, and rigorous curriculum achieve a creative and motivating learning community. We value positive, independent thinking along with respectful and responsible behaviors. Our school is a place where everyone is eager to learn and grow.
Parr's Ridge Elementary School opened its doors for the first time in August 2005 to serve the ever-growing Mt. Airy community and houses students in Kindergarten through 2nd grade. It is the first Primary School in Carroll County and is located in a campus-like setting, with Mt. Airy Elementary School for grades 3-5 and Mt. Airy Middle School for grades 6-8 in close proximity. Parr's Ridge Elementary School and Mt. Airy Elementary School share one PTA, which provides continuity for students and parents alike.
