During the past 33 years, I have been a reading specialist and classroom teacher. As an educator, I was a classroom teacher in New York and Arizona, and since 1990, I have served in Carroll County Public Schools. Prior to being named principal at Parr’s Ridge Elementary, I was an assistant principal at Charles Carroll and Carrolltowne Elementary Schools. Beginning its fourth year together, the Parr’s Ridge staff is dedicated and hard working. Our school community gives generously of their time and energy for our young children. Together we have created a safe and nurturing environment and a culture of high expectations that make Parr’s Ridge an outstanding school. |

It truly is an honor to serve the families and students of the Mt. Airy Community. Everyday I am excited to be part of such a dynamic team of teachers and volunteers who focus on America's most important resource, our children!
As the school year progresses, I am certain that as we work together as a team we will be able to meet the needs of all students. My hope is that we will live by the vision of our school and promote positive relationships, high expectations, and respectful and responsible student behaviors. Here’s to another wonderful school year!
