Career Connections

Career Connections is a program that links students, learning and the workplace. The goal is to provide young people with credentials and skills and to prepare them for their transition to further training and adulthood.

Local employers provide work based learning opportunities for students who meet the following requirements:

  • Must have senior status
  • Must maintain 94% attendance
  • Must maintain a GPA of 2.5 or better
  • Must have completed 75 service learning hours
  • Must have completed coursework for graduation
  • Must demonstrate appropriate behavior
  • Must be able to provide their own transportation

Career Coordinators

Mr. Weaver Mr. Weaver graduated from NCHS in 1968. He is a graduate of University of Maryland and Western Maryland College. He has been teaching at North Carroll High School for 32 years in Agri-Science, Special Education and as a Career Coordinator. Presently, he is the Instructional Leader in Agri-Science, Family and Consumer Science and Technology Education.
