QT389: What are the requirements in order for a high school student to be eligible to receive honor roll?

 

There are 3 possible honor rolls offered to CCPS students. They are: Straight A, Distinguished or Standard.

Rules for Receiving Honor Roll:
• The student must be carrying at least 2 credits AND taking at least 2 classes that marking period to be eligible for any honor roll
• The student cannot have quarter grades of I, D, WF, or F for any course taken during that marking period
• If the student had quarter grades of any combination of A, WP or P then he/she is eligible for 'Straight A Honor Roll'
• If the student had a current weighted GPA of 3.75 or higher, and is not already receiving Straight A Honor Roll, then they are eligible for the 'Distinguished Honor Roll'
• If the student had a current weighted GPA of 3.00 to 3.74, and is not already receiving Straight A Honor Roll, then they are eligible for the 'Standard Honor Roll'
