Memorial Day Ceremony
On Tuesday, May 27, students in grades 3-5 will attend
a special Memorial Day ceremony to be held in the cafeteria
from 8 am - approximately 8:45 am. The Patriot Club and
members of Century High School JROTC will be participating
in the ceremony.
Memorial Day Essay Contest
In honor of Memorial Day, LSE is sponsoring
an essay contest for students in grades 3-5. The essay should
be no more than 500 words. The focus of the essay should
be, "Why Memorial Day Is Important." The winning essays
will be read at the ceremony and the students will receive
a small award. The deadline for the essays will be 5/20/08.
