The Book Fair is Coming!
This year's Scholastic Book Fair will take place at the end of February and the first two days of March in the Media Center. Students will have an opportunity to preview the merchandise the week of Presidents Day. Buying week will be Monday Feb 27 through Friday March 2. We will have a family shopping night on Thursday March 1st, from 4:00pm to 7:00pm.
New this year -- online buying for those unable to attend the fair. From March 2nd through March 7th, family will be able to order through the Scholastic website and have the sales help support Linton Springs.

Kindergarten Registration
Registration for children entering Kindergarten for the 2012-2013 school year will take place from 8:00am to 2:00pm the week of

JUMP ROPE FOR HEART
Don’t forget to have your child get online donations for Jump Rope for Heart. Our goal as a school is to raise 20,000 dollars to be given to the American Heart Association. This amount will also allow us to donate soccer balls and jump ropes to the students at Callaway Elementary School located in Baltimore, Maryland. We will also keep some here at Linton Springs. Check out the Health Newsletter Page to get more information and to read about Steven Gonzalez’s heart story. He is a 1st grade student here at LSE.
Please help your student register for "Jump Rope for Heart." A letter was sent home explaining the event and you can also learn about it and register at http://www.heart.org/jump. Please contact Ms. Figuly with any questions. Thanks for your time and support!

New Before-and-After School Daycare Provider

Reminder from the Cafeteria
The cost of breakfast is $1.25, and the cost of lunch is $2.00. Students cannot use lunch tickets for breakfast or breakfast tickets for lunch. Any charges should be repaid the next day. See the Cafeteria page on this site for purchasing prepaid lunch tickets.
