Mr. Bongiovani earned a B.A. in Biology from Western Maryland College. He teaches Honors Biology I, Ecology, and Earth/Space Science. He is an advisor for the Class of 2009.

Mr. Durkin holds a B.S. from Loyola College and an M.Ed. from the University of Maryland College Park. He teaches Honors Conceptual Physics and AP Physics. Mr. Durkin is the Central Maryland Physics Olympics Coordinator and Host.

Mr. Fritch teaches Conceptual Physics, Physics, and Earth and Space Science. He holds a B.A. in Physics and Secondary Education from Clarion University.

Mrs. Deborah Mathias || DVMATHI@K12.CARR.ORG
Mrs. Mathias is a graduate of the University of Maryland at Baltimore (B.S. in Medical Technology) and Western Maryland College (M.S. in Education). She teaches Human Anatomy, Honors Human Anatomy, and AP Biology. Mrs. Mathias is the Science Club advisor.

Ms. Nolan is the chairperson of the Science department. Ms. Nolan teaches Chemistry I, Honors Chemistry II and AP Chemistry. She is a graduate of West Virginia Wesleyan College with a B.S. in Chemistry. Ms. Nolan is an advisor for the class of 2007.

Mrs. Nolte a graduate of Lebanon Valley College with a B.S. in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. She teaches Biology I, Honors Biology I, Biology II, and Honors Chemistry I.

Ms. Renner is the lab aide in the Science Department.

Ms. Schap holds a B.A. in Biology & Comm Arts from the College of Notre Dame of Maryland and an M.A. in Teaching from Towson University. She teaches Chemistry and Honors Biology.

Mrs. Rose Young || RMYOUNG@K12.CARR.ORG
Mrs. Young received her B.S. in Physics from the US Naval Academy and an M.S. in Applied Physics from the Johns Hopkins University. She teaches Conceptual Physics. Mrs. Young is also an advisor for the Class of 2009.
