Mrs. Linthicum received her B.S. from West Virginia Wesleyan College. She is the department chair of Family and Consumer Science (FACS), Business, Agri-Science, and the Technology Education Departments. Mrs. Linthicum teaches Child Development and also coordinates the Pre-School Program.

Stacey Nelson, a native New Yorker, graduated from Utah State University with a BS in Family Consumer Science Education in 2007. She teaches Intro to Foods, Advanced Foods and Flower Design at Liberty High School. Her love for Food Science, Cooking, and Nutrition started in middle school with her Family and Consumer Science teacher.

Prerequisites: This course is offered to students in grades 9-12. This course is part of a completer program. A lab fee may be required.

Advanced Foods

Prerequisites: Completed Introduction to Foods. This course is part of a completer program. A lab fee may be required.

Food and Nutrition Science
(1 credit) Academic
Prerequisites: Completed Introduction to Foods

Flower Design
(1/2 credit, 1 credit) Articulated
Prerequisites: This course is part of a completer program. A lab fee may be required.

Financial Literacy
(1/2 credit) Academic
Prerequisites: This course is a graduation requirement for students entering 9th grade in 2007 and beyond.
