Mr. Deitrich teaches Introduction to Technical Drawing, Introduction to Graphic Design, Advanced Graphics, Technical Drawing III and Leadership Development.

Mr. Allen Deming || ACDemin@carrollk12.org
Mr.  Deming has a BA in history from LeMoyne College, a Masters in Theology from St. Mary's Seminary and University , and is presently working on a Construction Management Degree at CCBC.  He is also a certified carpentry instructor. Mr. Deming teaches the  Foundations of Technology course as well as Manufacturing and Construction, Electronics and Agricultural Mechanics.

Your design team has been given a certain amount of materials to construct a transportation vehicle. Your team needs to design a vehicle using the provided materials to transport a passenger safely the furthest distance possible.
Remember we are following a problem solving design approach for this activity.
Your team needs to
    • Brainstorm ideas
    • construct their idea,
    • test the idea,
    • make the idea better.
Your first design is not always the best design. “Think outside the box”

    • Plastic Bag
    • 2 Rubber Bands
    • Popsicle stick
    • Tape
