National Honor Society Mission Statement:
The Liberty High School's chapter of the National Honor Society has an ongoing mission to create an enthusiasm for scholarship, to stimulate a desire to render service, to promote worthy leadership, and to encourage the development of character. Members are expected to uphold the civic, ethical, scholastic, and extra-curricular standards set by school and community in their behaviors both on and off school grounds. NHS members are recognized as school leaders and exemplars.
To be eligible for the National Honor Society, students must be in Grades 10, 11, or 12, and must maintain a cumulative, weighted GPA of at least 3.75 and have participated widely in activities, groups, clubs, teams, leadership, and volunteer positions.
Students must also remain active in a variety of school and community activities throughout their tenure as NHS members. Members are expected to participate in a set minimum of activities per year in order to remain eligible as outlined in the Liberty High School NHS Handbook.
