Mission
The mission of the School Counseling Program is to facilitate the personal and academic growth of all students. Counselors, as integral members of the educational team, support students in making positive life choices and becoming responsible and caring adults.

Vision
Every day, thousands of students set sail to discover who they are, where they are going, and what difference they will make in the world. Counselors, as lighthouses, guide students on the voyage toward self-discovery through the uncertain waters of social, emotional and academic challenges. From kindergarten through graduation, counselors are committed to provideing a safe harbor in which students can explore their potential and discover their unique capabilities. As role models of character, counselors are dedicated professionals who have made a choice to advocate for all students. Counselors help students ride the waves of success and failure, watching with pride as they chart their course in the world.
Judy A. Klinger, serves as the Supervisor of School Counseling, a program that employs approximately 100 Counselors and Behavior Support Specialists. Counselors are part of the staff in each of Carroll County's schools. They provide a variety of services to students, parents, and staff.
