| Extract Text | Participants will learn how to add the action Extract Text to a flipchart. This will allow you to click on a word in the text and make a copy of that word to move for instructional purposes without changing the original document. |
| Invert Text | Participants will learn how to add the action Invert Text to a flipchart. This will allow teachers to invert words or disguise them so the students cannot easily read them. This is a cool feature to help keep your students engaged in the lesson. |
| Bring to Front |
Participants will learn how to add the action Bring to Front to a flipchart. This will allow you to click on a word or object to make another word or object come to the top layer. This will create the illusion of items magically appearing.

| Hidden |
Participants will learn how to add the action Hidden to a flipchart. This action is used to make words or objects appear and disappear. It works like an on/off switch.

Participants will learn how to add the action Another Page to a flipchart. This will allow you to connect to a specific page in a flipchart vs. having to move through the entire document. We will also cover first, last, next and previous page actions.

| Change Text Value |
Participants will learn how to use the action Change Text Value. This action allows you to change the value of a text field already on a flipchart. This could be used for identification activities or game playing where you want to change the scores.

| Math Tools |
Participants will learn how to connect the math tools in a flipchart by setting them up as an action so students do not need to go searching for them. We will review how to do this for the calculator, compass. dice roller, protractor, ruler and the XY origin.

What is the difference between the Actions Bring to Front and Bring Forward? Bring to the Front moves the object right to the front, bring Forward will bring the object up one level at a time. If something is hidden behind several layers it will not pop right to the front if Bring Forward is selected, it will appear after it has “stepped” by each item on top of it.

Participants will learn how to create Magic Revealers that can be used to look through the top layer of a flipchart. By hiding things below the top layer and then using this device to “find” them we can add interaction and excitement to a flipchart. This recording will show you how to make a revealer.
