The Book Fair is almost here!
Please join us for our Family Nights! We will be open from 3-8 p.m. on Monday, October 26 and on Tuesday, November 6. We accept credit cards, checks, and cash at our Family events.
A Few Dates To Remember
October 26 – 30 will be the Preview Week. Your child’s class will visit the Book Fair during their regular media time, preview the items, and prepare a wish list.
November 2 - 6 will be Purchase Week. Please send payment along with your child’s order form/wish list to school with your child. Orders will be collected during homeroom and will be filled by Friday, November 6.
All students will visit the Book Fair in the Media Center during Preview Week in order to fill out and bring home a wish list of items they are interested in purchasing. Please be on the look out for these slips. During Purchase Week, please return the wish list with the items you would like to buy circled or highlighted, along with payment (cash or check) to the Media Center or your child’s teacher. All orders are due by Friday, November 6th. Please remember to calculate 6% sales tax on all orders. Checks should be made out to Friendship Valley Elementary. In the event that we run out of stock, we will try to order additional copies through Scholastic.
We hope that sending in the payment with your child’s wish list will make the purchasing of items easier, quicker, and offer you more insight on what your child purchases. If you’d rather come in to view the selections and make your purchases in person, please feel free to stop by during the Family Nights or during regular school hours.
